Mechanical working

The piece’s finish represents more and more an important part of the particulars’ whole production cycle. It is for this reason that AM Teknostampi has implemented within the factory all the main preparation processes of the piece for the successive finish. We have a wide range of tumblers to remove production burrs, a blaster with metal spheres and a sandblaster with glass microspheres to get the surface ready for the next coat of painting, shiners for the mirror-finish of the aluminium particulars. If necessary, the pieces are sheared off/stamped with a suitable press or milling/threading is carried out with numerically controlled work centres equipped with pallet change. After this treatment the pieces are ready for the following painting or anodized finish.
